A terrorist attack in Burkina Faso has left at least 100 people dead.
The Attack
The attack took place on Saturday, June 4, 2022, in the village of Solhan in the northern region of Burkina Faso.
Gunmen stormed the village, shooting people and setting fire to homes.
The attack was claimed by the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS).
The Victims
The victims of the attack were mostly civilians, including women and children.
Many of the victims were burned to death in their homes.
