Johnathan Flowers, a Huntsville native, is a member of the United States Paralympic basketball team that will compete in the Tokyo Paralympics.

Flowers, who was born with spina bifida, has been playing basketball since he was a child. He played at Lee High School and then went on to play at the University of Alabama.

After college, Flowers played professionally in Europe before joining the United States Paralympic basketball team in 2019.

Flowers is one of the most experienced players on the United States Paralympic basketball team. He has competed in two Paralympic Games, winning a gold medal in 2016.

Flowers is a key player for the United States Paralympic basketball team. He is a strong rebounder and defender, and he can also score when needed.
